Description

This brick bungalow has steeply sloping gable roof, deep porch-covered facade, and characteristic overhanging flared eaves. Decorative details include a shingled gable dormer wih extended eaves supported by brackets, a porch with arched brick supports, and a raised rusticated limestone foundation.
As is typical of Bungalow style houses, Mellinger House contains one-and-one-half stories. It also features a central hall in the double-pile interior and original woodwork of chestnut and oak.
